During this winter Little Grace was kept in our barn. If only I had known she was going to lose this privileged in favor of our horses, who came home during 2010, I would have pressed on and finished her rather than going sailing that year.
         
Work Begins at least but was soon overtaken by temperatures below C -20

6. The first attempt to refurbish - Winter 2009/10
The winter of 2009/2010 proved to be harder and longer than normal, even for Finland. Although work started with good intentions in the end I gave up and put everything back together in favor of actually sailing this boat for the first time.
